About the Opportunity:The TAX SUPERVISOR role involves overseeing advanced tax accounting functions and managing tax engagements. This position is critical in ensuring tax compliance, planning, and risk identification while leading and mentoring junior staff to meet deadlines and maintain quality across diverse client industries. Responsibilities:Prepare engagement work papers and tax returns for clients across various industriesResearch and analyze tax issuesIdentify potential problems within engagements and communicate them to managementPrepare tax projections and planning assignmentsConduct tax consulting projects as neededRecognize key client issues and propose solutions to enhance quality and efficiencyMaintain knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit/tax techniquesCommunicate effectively with associates, management, partners, and clientsProvide performance feedback to junior staffReport workload and project status to managementAssist with financial statement compilations, reviews, and audits during the offseason Requirements:3-4 years of public accounting tax experienceExperience with high-net-worth or private client tax services is a strong advantageProficiency in preparing engagement work papers and tax returns for individuals, S-Corps, and partnerships preferredBachelor’s degree in accounting required; Master’s in Tax preferredCPA license requiredKnowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystems is a plus Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package Benefits & Perks:Medical insuranceDental insurance401(k) Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
