Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the work of tax preparers
- Handle tax return preparation with increasing complexity and scope
- Conduct tax research
- Represent clients before taxing authorities
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research
- Generalist return experience
- 2+ years' experience representing clients before taxing authorities
- 1+ year experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required; master's degree in taxation preferred
- Open to hybrid work in either San Jose or San Francisco
