Tax Standards, Quality, and Risk Senior Associate
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CPA, JD, or other similar certification
- At least two years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm
Qualifications
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate tax issues and rules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Ability to work under pressure
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
Responsibilities
- Perform Tax quality reviews
- Support the new client and engagement acceptance process
- Support the development of policies and procedures relating to tax services
- Develop and present educational materials to Tax personnel on various topics
- Write technical documents and articles
- Consult with Tax professionals on professional standards, contracting, and risk management issues
- Partner with Tax Transformation to drive modernization of the Tax practice including processes, technology, and service delivery
- Liaise with other practice support areas including Learning, Firmwide Risk, Legal Counsel, and IT
