Tax Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid in the analysis of tax functions from loan closing through life-of-loan servicing and/or servicing transfers.
• Support the development and implementation of strategies and the long-term operational plan for the department.
• Manage the relationship with tax vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are maintained.
• Collaborate with key business partners within Servicing and other parts of the organization to foster strong working relationships.

Qualifications

• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a similar field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
• A positive attitude and inquisitive personality are essential for success in this role.
• Prior experience in financial services is desired but not mandatory.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are required.
• The incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s compliance commitments.
