Tax Services Associate I
The Tax Service Associate I is responsible for assisting customers with tax/tag issues. Duties include reviewing documents, collecting payments, maintaining records, preparing correspondence, and managing supplies.
- Reviewing various documents and making necessary changes
- Collecting payments from customers
- Keeping daily records of receivables
- Maintaining various records and files related to the tax/tag department
- Preparing various correspondence and reports for the department or external customers
- Maintaining inventory of supplies
- Performing other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D.; Two years of customer service or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: Property Tax related experience; flexible with work schedule and hours; willing to work at any DMV location and reassignments can be made at any time.
Background Check: Required due to the sensitive nature of the position.
Grade: B21(1)
