About the role
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in tax management or consulting, with a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, offering strategic advice to optimize their tax situations.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
- Conduct research on new tax laws and regulations, and communicate findings to the team.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of tax-related tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience with tax software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
