Tax Senior Manager - Private Client Services

About the role

Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm seeking talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager level. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, investment partnerships, estates, and trusts.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to high-net-worth individual clients and privately-held businesses.
• Work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in business development and team development.
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff.
• Attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
• Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in multiple industries.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills.
