About the role

Weaver is a full-service national accounting, advisory and consulting firm seeking talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager level. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, privately-owned businesses, investment partnerships, estates, and trusts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide federal tax compliance and planning services to high-net-worth individual clients and privately-held businesses.
  • Work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in business development and team development.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff.
  • Attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in multiple industries.
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff.
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $141,000 to $290,000 in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.

Schedule

Our ideal candidate is available to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
