Tax Senior, Public Accounting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and sign off on individual, corporate, partnership, and other income tax returns
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, helping them grow both technically and professionally
• Conduct tax research and prepare well-organized memoranda with clear recommendations
• Develop a working understanding of each client's business to identify planning opportunities and areas for improvement
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, proactively gathering information, addressing questions, and delivering timely, practical advice
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field
• Active CPA license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting tax experience, with exposure to individual, corporate, and partnership returns
• Strong background in tax compliance, tax research, and preparing written technical memos
• Proven ability to supervise and develop junior team members in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset and a high standard of professionalism
