Role & Responsibilities

  • Review complex federal and multi-state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S-corporations, and trusts
  • Prepare and review individual, business, gift, and estate tax returns with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor staff, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback
  • Lead and coordinate detailed tax research and planning initiatives for clients across a variety of industries
  • Analyze prior-year filings to identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvements
  • Develop tax projections and strategies for individuals and business entities
  • Partner with internal teams to provide thoughtful and effective client solutions
  • Manage and respond to inquiries, audits, and notices from the IRS and state agencies
  • Stay current with evolving tax laws and trends to anticipate client needs
  • Build the technical, leadership, and advisory skills necessary to advance into a Tax Manager role

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax
  • CPA license or active CPA candidate with ongoing exam progress
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong technical background in tax preparation, compliance, and review
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Open to feedback, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
