Responsibilities
- Deliver Quality Tax Services. Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance across various entities.
- Research & Plan. Conduct technical tax research, identify planning opportunities, and provide practical solutions as a client advocate.
- Support Advisory Projects. Assist with income tax planning, estate and gift considerations, nonprofit compliance, pension tax, and other consulting engagements.
- Manage Relationships. Work directly with clients, understand their objectives, and deliver proactive tax and business solutions.
- Coach & Mentor. Supervise, train, and review the work of staff and interns, supporting their professional development and ensuring quality results.
- Drive Efficiency. Apply strong knowledge of tax systems, processes, and software to improve workflow and project management.
- Grow Professionally. Participate in firm training, professional organizations, and niche development opportunities to expand your expertise.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of public accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP and OCBOA
- Strong technical, research, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
