Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions using open source tools, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, sales, asset management, and finance, to build and automate business solutions.
• Work on core engineering platforms for data engineering, machine learning, networking, and developer tooling.
• Solve complex problems and apply analysis to make data-driven decisions.
• Develop responsive web applications using React, Angular, Redux, and advanced JavaScript.
• Utilize NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent object-oriented or functional analysis and design skills.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems and apply analytical thinking to make data-driven decisions.
• Comfortable multitasking, managing multiple stakeholders, and working as part of a global team.
• Entrepreneurial approach and passion for problem-solving and product development.
• 1+ years of software development experience.

Skills

• Expertise in one or more compiled languages such as Java or C++, or interpreted languages such as Python, with experience in concurrency and memory management.
• Professional experience with responsive web development, including React, Angular, Redux, and advanced JavaScript.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge or interest in trading technologies, particularly in the front-office of a trading organization (preferred).

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
