Responsibilities

• Prepare and review state and local income, franchise, sales and use, and property tax returns
• Research state and local tax laws, regulations, and rulings to support compliance and planning
• Assist with nexus studies, apportionment analysis, and multistate tax planning
• Support state and local tax audits, notices, and inquiries, including gathering documentation and drafting responses
• Prepare and analyze tax provision and workpapers as they relate to state and local taxes
• Maintain accurate documentation, workpapers, and organized client files
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and communicate potential impacts
• Collaborate with senior team members, clients, and internal departments to meet deadlines
• Use tax software and research tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency
