About the role
The Tax Program Supervisor (TPS) leads the Machines Unit within RDSS, overseeing automated sorting operations. This role involves hands-on leadership, technical troubleshooting, and enhancing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provides strong, motivating leadership to a team responsible for operating, monitoring, and optimizing high-volume sorter equipment.
- Guides the team through technical challenges and ensures daily goals are met with accuracy and efficiency.
- Works closely with vendors and internal support teams to troubleshoot equipment, coordinate maintenance, and ensure machines operate at peak performance.
- Evaluates workflows, identifies improvement opportunities, and contributes ideas that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on inspiring, motivating, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven strong work ethic.

- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Dedicated to providing high-quality customer service.
- Familiar with FTB’s organizational structure, operations, programs, and related systems.
- Skilled in building and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships.
