Tax Professional/Senior Tax Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, supporting payroll activities, and working with accounting software. This position will support multiple business clients and requires strong attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Enter and maintain financial data and transactions using QuickBooks, Gusto, and other accounting systemsReview and verify financial transactions for accuracy and completenessReconcile monthly bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accountsAssist with payroll reporting and account reconciliationsSupport the onboarding and setup of new clientsPrepare accounts through the trial balance stageAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processesAnalyze budgets, financial records, and other accounting informationPrepare and complete required tax forms and related documentationMaintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company proceduresCommunicate with clients and internal team members regarding accounting-related questions and documentation Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role preferredWorking knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principlesExperience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Gusto or similar payroll platforms preferredStrong understanding of account reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial recordkeepingStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities effectively Benefits & Perks Competitive CompensationPaid Time OffCareer Growth OpportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environment
