What You Own
You prep every return in your pod, business and personal, for your Tax Manager's review. High-income physician households, complicated situations, real volume. Expect to prep between 150 and 250 returns a year.
The standard is exacting, because your Manager's review only works if your prep is clean. During season the pace is relentless, and there is nowhere to hide a sloppy file. You have to be on top of every detail, every deadline, and every client, every day.
Who This Is For
A high executor who is relentlessly on top of their work. Detail-oriented, accurate, fast under volume, and organized enough to never drop a deadline or a client.
Energized, not drained, by a large book of complicated clients. Hungry to learn planning and to become a Manager, and willing to earn it through reps and execution rather than waiting on a title.
The Path
This is where our Managers come from, and the runway is real. The Seniors who put in the reps and execute at a high level move up. It is earned, not given, and it takes both reps and execution to get there.
Requirements
- CPA or EA, or in active progress with a firm timeline to finish.
- 3+ years of tax preparation, ideally individual and business returns.
- Accurate, organized, and fast under real volume.
- Be ready to show your work.
- Hungry to learn planning and to grow into a Tax Manager.
