Tax Preparer/Accountant

About the role

Monroeville PA Firm seeking Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer. PT-Seasonal (may lead to FT) depending on applicant experience/availability (This is not a remote position).

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate Degree in Accounting or related business field preferred
• Relevant accounting/tax/business office experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Accounting Software (QuickBooks a plus)
• Experience with tax preparation software (ProSeries a plus)
• Professional/Educational and Personal References Required

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting/tax preparation knowledge and skills to prepare information needed to timely file accurate tax returns
• Assist clients in managing their businesses
• Effectively communicate verbally and written, internally as well as to clients and other external contacts
• Obtain information necessary to accurately prepare personal and business returns for Federal, State and Local agencies
