Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer
Job Details
Job Duties and Requirements:
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Perform client write-up accounting and general ledger tasks
- Aid with special tax projects as needed
- Work closely with clients to collect information and answer questions
- Build and maintain client relationships with professionalism
- Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
Skills and Traits:
- 3+ years of individual, corporate, and partnership tax experience
- Strong QuickBooks skills and general ledger accounting experience
- Experience with ProSeries a plus but not required
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines

February 1 through April 15 requires extended hours, possibly over 50 per week
Pay
$55,000 - $95,000 per year
