Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and goals.
- Develop and implement sophisticated tax, gift, and estate planning strategies to minimize tax implications and accomplish family goals.
- Advise clients on charitable giving, philanthropic endeavors, and establishing family foundations or charitable trusts.
- Advises clients on tax-efficient strategies to minimize estate, gift, and inheritance taxes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure clients' compliance with relevant tax obligations.
- Work with outside attorneys, assist clients in protecting their assets through various legal means, including the use of trusts, limited liability entities, and family partnerships.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals, financial advisors, and accountants to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- 10+ years of experience in private client tax, with a sub-specialty and focus in trusts and estates taxation and planning.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to trusts and estates.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Pay
Salary Range: $250,000 - $500,000 annually
