About the role

Our client, a public accounting firm in the Albany, NY metro area, is seeking a Tax Partner. This role is suited for professionals ready to step up from a Tax Director or Senior Tax Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to clients regarding all tax matters
• Help build client relationships
• Provide direction and recommendations to businesses for improvements
• Mentor staff and continue to grow professionally in tax specialization
• Review returns, make notes and have team make adjustments

Requirements

• CPA is required
• Bachelor's in Accounting is required; a Master's would be beneficial
• 5+ years of related public accounting experience
• Prior management or leadership experience preferred
• Ability to make decisions and work in a fast‑paced environment
