About the role
The Tax Partner will lead tax planning and compliance efforts for affordable housing projects, providing strategic advice to clients on tax issues related to their investments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies for affordable housing entities
- Provide tax due diligence and analysis for affordable housing transactions
- Advise clients on tax implications of affordable housing developments and financing structures
- Prepare and review tax returns for affordable housing projects
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations affecting affordable housing
- Collaborate with other professionals in the firm to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in tax advisory services
- Experience with tax issues related to affordable housing is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
