Would you like to help shape tax policy and advise on complex technical tax matters from Deloitte's Washington National Tax practice in the nation's capital? As part of this team, you will work on issues that influence both tax strategy and the interpretation and application of federal tax legislation. The team works closely with Deloitte tax professionals and clients to analyze complex matters, manage risk, and address sophisticated tax challenges. Their work spans technical interpretation, policy developments, and practical application for multinational organizations. Qualifications Required: Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per weekBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, JD or related field5+ years' experience in a consulting environmentLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel up to 10%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveOne of the following accreditations obtained:Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPAIf not CPA eligible:Licensed attorneyEnrolled Agent Preferred: Master of Science in Taxation, Juris Doctor (JD), or Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation Experience analyzing federal tax policy, technical tax issues, or tax accounting matters affecting multinational corporations Experience collaborating with tax professionals and clients on complex tax matters The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $ 261,625. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
