Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a rapidly growing CPA firm based in South Dakota with additional office locations in Wyoming and Nebraska to find tax talent to join their team in hybrid and onsite roles. Relocation packages are available for candidates who do not live nearby.
Responsibilities
- Prepare payroll, tax, and business records and reports.
- Prepare corporate and individual tax returns.
- Build new and strengthen existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
- Communicate and meet with clients as requested; provide recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
- Manage client relationships and ensure final annual tax products and monthly financial work are produced and delivered within expected timelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
- Strong experience with agriculture industry tax returns is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting highly desired or equivalent work experience.
- CPA certification is highly desired or ability to attain.
- Experience working in CCH ProSystem is a plus, but not required as training is provided.

Schedule
- Flexible Monday–Friday schedule (typically 8 AM–5 PM) that accommodates personal and family time, provided business needs are met.
- Busy season (February–May) requires approximately 56 hours per week, with comp time earned for hours worked over 40 in a week, redeemable as extra PTO later in the year.
