About the role
A highly respected and growing public accounting firm seeks an experienced Tax Manager to join its Woodland Hills team. This role is ideal for a technically strong CPA who enjoys building relationships, solving complex tax challenges, and driving business growth within an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax engagements across corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individual clients
- Lead tax planning initiatives
- Support mergers and acquisitions activity
- Advising on entity structuring and restructuring strategies
- Prepare and review tax provisions and consolidated filings
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients navigating complex financial decisions
- Mentor junior staff
- Support practice growth initiatives
- Strengthen client relationships
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the firm
Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
- Strong expertise in:
- Tax provisions and consolidations
- Tax planning and strategy
- Transactional tax matters
- Corporate, partnership, LLC, trust, and individual taxation
- Experience advising on mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and entity planning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills
- Prioritizing engagement management and mentoring junior staff
- Outgoing, entrepreneurial mindset with strong networking and business development capabilities
- Strong technical problem-solving and advisory skills
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required

Pay
Competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus opportunities, and benefits
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed
