About the role
We are a 100% virtual CPA firm, with our team located across the United States. As a real estate niche-focused firm, we serve Real Estate Investors, Syndicates, and Fund Managers. Our team has a passion for real estate and often owns investment properties themselves.
Responsibilities
- Conduct final technical reviews of tax returns and documents for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, and corporations, and sign tax returns
- Provide tax return debriefs to clients, walking them through technical areas of the return
- Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Review and facilitate tax resolution with federal and state tax authorities
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and procedures
- Assist in team development of technical skills and work quality, providing mentorship and training
- Responsible for maintaining strong client relationships by managing their expectations, being responsive to their communications/emails
- Recommend other firm services to the benefit of the client. Ex: bookkeeping services, tax advisory, etc.
Qualifications
- Timeliness and accuracy of deliverables and workpapers
- Happiness rating of tax preparation clients
- Delivering on your promises with clients
- Clean background with no noise or distractions
- Business casual attire for client interactions
- Always use video (80% of communication is non-verbal)

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA or EA certification
- Experience with real estate tax matters and multi-state tax returns
Pay
Annual salary for this role starts at $120,000. This role is eligible for annual bonuses.
