Job Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate preparation of tax returns as it relates to partnerships, individuals, S and C-Corporations
- Advises clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including planning, research, compliance, partnership allocations and general transactional activities
- Reviews or conducts high level research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepares memorandums to support conclusions, including state tax issues and international tax issues
- Identifies assignment resource requirements and ensures appropriate resources are allocated to specific engagement roles
- Led client billing and accounts receivable processes
- Anticipates, identifies, and resolves complex assignment issues
- Aids in new business development and expansion of services for existing clients
- Builds relationships with members of other business units within Armanino who serve similar clients
- Communicates effectively with clients regarding engagement progress and seeks client feedback on team performance
- Manages teams effectively to ensure engagement profitability in the short and long term sustainability of practice
- Coaches and mentors staff and seniors on client engagements and career path
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Taxation
- CPA or equivalent credential
Pay
$111,800 - $169,800
