Tax Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead client audit, tax, and advisory engagements
- Set up and engage with teams, providing hands-on direction and oversight for project outcomes
- Plan and execute audit, review, or tax engagements, managing deadlines and budgets
- Serve as a team leader, supervising staff and ensuring technical compliance and timely service delivery
- Communicate with senior and staff accountants, providing clear expectations, identifying risks, and managing project budgets
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact and advisor, and providing advice on accounting and business issues
- Participate in special projects as necessary
- Support senior management in pitching for new business and expanding existing client relationships
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant tax experience
- 2 years of reviewing tax returns
- CPA, EA, or CPA eligible
- Industry experience in one of the firm's specializations (Real Estate, Construction, Financial Services, High Net Worth Individuals, or Entrepreneurial Services) a plus

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Operates in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels, e.g., computers, printer, light traffic. Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers). Long periods of sitting/standing at desk for computer work. Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects.
