About the role
The Tax Manager - Private Client Services position offers a unique opportunity to lead a team focused on providing comprehensive tax services to high-net-worth individuals and families. This role is part of a dynamic team in the Private Client Services department within our Tax practice.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns for high-net-worth clients.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement strategies that optimize tax planning and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members on tax-related issues and ensure adherence to professional standards.
- Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and incorporate these into client service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in tax advisory services.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior staff.
- Experience with tax software and systems.
- Knowledge of estate planning and trust administration.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
