Tax Manager - CRE [Commercial Real Estate]
About the role
This position will support our Real Estate Industry Group and more specifically, the Commercial Real Estate team. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm meaning most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts, train, assign work to staff and communicate directly to clients, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners
- Research topics communicate directly with tax authorities as needed.
- You should be able to research more complex topics and be able to identify client needs
- Responsible for mentor and support the staffs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting/Taxation
- CPA, JD or EA required
- 6+ years tax experience in a public accounting firm
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Ability to lead, manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
- Strong knowledge and experience with Excel
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, ProSystem FX, and BNA Tax Planner
- Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
Qualifications
- Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
- Experience with BNA Tax Planner preferred
- Experience with ProSystem FX preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
