Key Responsibilities
- Review federal and state tax returns with a primary focus on partnerships, including complex partnership structures.
- Oversee and review high-net-worth individual (1040) returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff and senior accountants throughout the tax preparation and review process.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of tax engagements while maintaining high quality standards.
- Stay current on tax law changes and apply knowledge to client situations.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on tax.
- Extensive experience reviewing partnership returns; experience with complex partnership structures is highly preferred.
- Solid experience with individual (1040) tax returns, including high-net-worth clients.
- Strong technical tax knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Prioritization and management of multiple engagements and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
