Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in the finance or accounting industry.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Proficient in handling S Corp tax matters.
• Experience in tax planning and strategy development.
• Proven track record of successfully managing tax audits.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using tax software and other related software.
• Experience in client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of tax management, including tax planning, tax review, and compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Conduct thorough tax audits and ensure the company is fully compliant with all tax regulations.
• Develop tax strategies to optimize the company's financial performance.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making support.
• Assist with new client onboarding and maintaining existing client relationships.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the tax department, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Work with the finance team to forecast future tax liabilities and develop strategies to minimize tax expense.

$120,000 - $170,000 per year
