About the role
The International Tax Manager will focus on U.S. international tax planning for Amazon's devices business, with a particular emphasis on Amazon Leo — a project to launch a satellite constellation for broadband connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and advise on international business initiatives and proposals
- Work closely with business partners and members of the corporate tax department to structure business initiatives and transactions
- Ensure the business teams are well advised on the tax impact of their activities
- Document tax technical analysis to support reporting, compliance, and ongoing tax controversy analysis
- Communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals in a business setting
Requirements
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- J.D., or CPA
Qualifications
- Strong technical writing, tax research, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage others, both directly and indirectly
- Motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a fast-paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment
Skills
- Ability to work closely with global tax department and external stakeholder teams
- Effective communication skills in both writing and oral presentations
- Understanding of international business initiatives and proposals

Pay
$89,900.00 - $157,200.00 USD annually
