Responsibilities
- Support our CPAs to meet the requirements of complex regulatory work
- Communicate clearly, accurately and in a timely manner by telephone, email, and online portals with attorneys, regulatory representatives and our CPAs
- Provide outstanding service to clients in response to requests for documentation and analysis
- Manage the document request and collection process from initial client engagement to conclusion
- Cook up the scheduling of projects, deliverables and related details
- Maintain appropriate policies and procedures to ensure proper compliance
- Cook up client billing and engagement to actual results and communicate to team members
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or
- 5+ years experience as an accounting paraprofessional or paralegal
- Able to interact professionally with CPAs, attorneys and accounting regulators
- Excellent reading comprehension and proficient in QuickBooks Online
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with tax filings
- Proactive and highly responsive to requests for documents and data from internal and external sources
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Collaborative with colleagues at all levels to deliver outstanding client service
Qualifications
- Currently live a reasonable commuting distance from Downtown Naples. This is a 100% on-site position.
- Industry experience in Construction, Hospitality, Healthcare, High Net-Worth Individuals, Real Estate or Non-Profit a plus
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting (GAAP) principles
- Highly adept at Quickbooks Online
- Highly proficient in navigating online portals to submit documentation
- Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- A highly organized multi-tasker; self-motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of a team
