Tax Intern - Spring 2028 - Central Region

Applications for Weaver’s Spring 2028 Tax Internships are open! Our Tax Interns play an integral role on client engagements during peak season. Our internships serve as a valuable first step in a long-term career with Weaver. By the end of a Weaver internship, you’ll have gained extensive practical knowledge and made lasting connections with your fellow interns, Weaver Leaders, and everyone in between.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns from start to finish
• Gain exposure to multiple types of tax returns (individuals, businesses, trusts, etc.) for clients in various industries
• Travel to client sites as needed

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field with the goal to obtain the credit hours necessary to become a CPA
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Positive attitude and a growth mindset
• Ability to work overtime as expected

Pay

Hourly rate: $35.00 - $37.00/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
