About the role

Benco Dental is searching for a Tax Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. At Benco Dental, our company is our family, and we are looking for a new addition to assist us in Driving Dentistry Forward.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales tax return reconciliations
• Use tax reports
• Aid with financial statement audits & month end close
• Complete research projects & data analysis
• Handle ad hoc requests and research as needed
• Perform administrative support: scanning, filing, and distributing mail
• Comply with all policies and standards to support the efficient operations of the department and company
• Effectively communicate (read, write, and speak) English
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum 3.2 GPA is preferred
• Ability to work up to 16 hours per week
• Ability to work onsite as needed in Pittston, PA

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounting
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new concepts
• Self-starter and capable of working independently
• Superior written, interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
