Tax-Exempt Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

Job Objective

Manage tax exempt investment-grade bond portfolios across short to intermediate durations, aligning with client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tax exempt investment-grade bond portfolios across short to intermediate durations
• Perform fundamental credit analysis and ongoing monitoring of issuers and sectors
• Construct and maintain portfolios aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and income needs
• Evaluate relative value opportunities across the fixed income universe
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, interest rate trends, and economic developments
• Collaborate with internal teams to support client portfolios and reporting
• Participate in select client discussions as needed

Job Requirements

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in tax exempt fixed income
• 5-7 years of tax exempt, investment grade, portfolio management experience
• Experience managing tax exempt, investment-grade bond portfolios
• Strong credit analysis skills
• Experience working with high-net-worth client portfolios preferred
• CFA designation or master’s degree preferred
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound investment judgment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay

The expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000, with a bonus based on individual and firm performance. Total compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and overall contribution.
