Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on federal tax issues arising from renewable energy tax credit transactions
- Counsel clients on the tax aspects of corporate transactions and private equity-backed mergers and acquisitions
- Structure and support sophisticated transactional tax matters
- Draft and review transaction documents from a tax perspective
- Conduct legal research and provide practical, commercially focused tax advice
- Work directly with partners and clients on complex domestic transactions
- Collaborate across corporate, finance and tax teams to deliver integrated legal solutions
Who You Are
- A 2nd–5th year associate
- Strong transactional tax experience
- Experience with renewable energy tax credits and/or private equity M&A transactions preferred
- Excellent drafting, analytical and legal writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Hardworking, proactive and collaborative approach
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Active Bar admission or eligible to waive into the relevant jurisdiction
- Willing to work in-office a minimum of three days per week
