About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing consumer use tax data, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, and preparing reports to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze consumer use tax data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with state and local regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on tax compliance and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Support audits and investigations related to consumer use tax
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in consumer use tax analysis or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax software and databases
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
