Tax Administrator
Position Summary
Provide administrative support to service line leaders and team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and assist with the planning of department events, trainings, and key deadlines.
Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and client deliverables.
Affix time entry review, billing preparation, and project tracking to support accurate and timely client service.
Maintain department records, files, and systems in alignment with firm policies and confidentiality standards.
Afford client relationship management, including maintaining contact information and CRM data.
Collaborate with firmwide administrative and operations teams to share best practices and ensure consistency across departments.
Perform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership
Background
- Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Professional services or accounting firm experience strongly preferred.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and client service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with CCH Axcess, or similar software a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and contribute to a positive team culture.
