About the Role
SSP is seeking experienced Luxury Hotel Managers and Directors across Finance, Housekeeping, Sales, Catering, Engineering, Rooms, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Spa to join our growing Task Force team. This is a 100% travel position where you will provide temporary leadership support to luxury hotels during executive transitions, new hotel openings, repositioning initiatives, renovations, and other operational needs. Consultants remain on-site for the duration of each assignment and are provided a trip home every two to three weeks.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive, energetic, and respectful work environment within your department.
- Lead through example, professionalism, integrity, and vision.
- Provide temporary leadership support to prevent operational disruptions during management vacancies.
- Quickly assess departmental needs, implement effective solutions, and maintain luxury brand standards.
- Partner closely with hotel leadership to ensure operational excellence and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate department teams while driving accountability and performance.
- Build collaborative relationships across departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Adapt quickly to new teams, cultures, and operational environments.
- Maintain focus on service excellence, financial performance, and operational efficiency throughout each assignment.
- Support hotel openings, leadership transitions, property repositioning initiatives, renovations, and other special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Manager-level candidates: Minimum of 5 years of recent luxury hotel management experience.
- Director-level candidates: Minimum of 10 years of recent luxury hotel leadership experience.
- Recent leadership experience with internationally recognized luxury hotel brands such as Fairmont, Four Seasons, Auberge Resorts Collection, Mandarin Oriental, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Park Hyatt, Rosewood, Aman, Belmond, One&Only, Waldorf Astoria, Peninsula Hotels, Montage, or comparable luxury properties is strongly preferred.

- Spa
- Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proactive approach to supporting hotel operations.
- Ability to adapt quickly and perform under high expectations.
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- An ambitious, self-motivated professional with a passion for hospitality.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
