Tartan Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach

About the role

The position involves coaching Tartan High School's Girl's Volleyball team. The coach will be responsible for planning and executing practice sessions, managing team dynamics, and preparing players for competitive matches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute volleyball practices and games
• Manage team dynamics and player development
• Prepare players for competitive matches
• Be available for some weekend games and practices
• Work hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the season

Requirements

• Experience in Girls' Volleyball, either coaching or playing competitively
• Experience working with high school aged students
• Knowledge of MSHSL rules & regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong human relation & communication skills

Qualifications

• Previous High School Coaching Experience
• High School and College Playing Experience
• Ability to develop strong community relations
• Knowledge in developing and/or social media

Benefits

The position is compensated according to the teacher labor agreement contract for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The pay is per the teacher labor agreement contract for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Schedule

The schedule is from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the season.
