TAR - Welder Helper

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled TAR - Welder Helper to join our team in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry. As a Welder Helper, you will be responsible for assisting welders in the fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure that all welding tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the welding team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders in the fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and equipment
• Prepare materials and equipment for welding
• Operate welding equipment under the supervision of a welder
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Skills

• Use your knowledge of welding equipment and techniques to assist welders in the fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and equipment
• Use your attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings and blueprints to ensure that all welding tasks are completed to the highest quality standards
• Work closely with the welding team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
• Your experience with welding inspection and testing will be valuable in ensuring that all welding tasks are completed safely and efficiently
