Taproom Host: Kansas City

About the role

The Taproom Host is responsible for providing an amazing first impression to each guest as they enter Big Grove. This is achieved through what we call Relentless Hospitality and our hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, enthusiastic greetings to guests.
• Address guest inquiries, handle complaints or special requests.
• Manage taprooms seating plan to optimize service flow and table turnover.
• Keep host stand and adjacent areas clean, tidy, and organized.
• Restock to-go beer and assist in the merchandise store as needed.
• Thank every guest as they depart for visiting us.
• Answer phone calls and take call-ahead or reservation requests.
• Utilize Toast Tables software to manage waitlists and provide accurate wait times.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude.
• The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Pay

Full time and part time positions may be available. Hours of work/days may vary from week to week. Schedules will be posted 2 weeks prior to allow time for employee's to be informed of work requirements.

Schedule

The business is open 7 days a week during many different parts of the day. Evening and weekends are a key requirement.
