Taping Machine Operator (GE)

About the role

TE Wire & Cable LLC, a division of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Taping Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in Saddle Brook, NJ. We are the industry leader in providing high-quality thermocouple wire & cable products with fast lead times and competitive pricing.

Responsibilities

• Sets up reels of wire into payoff stands and empties them onto the takeup reel.
• Laces wire through the machine-oven-capstan spark tester and onto the takeup reel.
• Loads tapes onto the taping heads and drains wire when necessary according to job requirements.
• Starts the machine and checks tape lay.
• Sets the spark tester at the required voltage.
• Runs the machine to the required footage.
• Maintains quality standards and operates machines at specified speeds.
• Performs necessary repairs to any faults or damaged material as per specifications.

Requirements

• Adhere to safety standards.
• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
• No attendance issues.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Passes a post-offer company-paid physical/drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay and Schedule

• Available shifts: 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM.
