Role Overview
Aid tank welders and mechanics with pressure testing, drying out tanks, repairing tank containers, and buffing inside tanks as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Pressure test tanks, drain and dry out tanks
- Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets, and gauges
- Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
- Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
- Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
- Lubricate and clean parts
- Operate lathe, drill press, and grinders
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Buff Tanks as needed
Qualifications
- Possess a mechanical background
- Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Be detailed oriented
- Be able to wear a respirator and work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
Starting Pay
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Location

Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
