Tank Trailer Mechanic

About the role

Depot Connect International (DCI) is a global leader in the Tank/ISO Tank Container Services and Tank Trailer Parts industry, combining the expertise of Quala, Boasso Global, and PSC. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with over 160 locations worldwide and a team of over 3,500 employees, we are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 1 or more years of tank trailer repair experience for our Williston, ND location.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Location: 13552 Bassett Lane, Williston, ND

Pay

• $25.00 to $45.00 per hour, dependent on experience
• Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a tank trailer
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified
• 1 or more years of tank trailer repair experience
• TIG aluminum, stainless, or carbon welding experience (optional)

Physical demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
