About the role
Provide efficient operation of the tank farm facilities, including shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals. Ensure prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of tank farm customer orders while complying with all State and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations.
- Inspect and check tank farm equipment and facilities to ensure good operating condition.
- Maintain and protect warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
- Handle, blend, and pump hazardous chemicals outdoors.
- Transfer hazardous chemicals from railcar to tank and tank to trailer.
- Package totes and drums with product.
- Drive hostler in the yard to move bulk trailers.
- Report any problems with tank farm operation to the Warehouse or Operations Manager.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience.
Physical Demands & Environmental Conditions
- Office and plant environment.
- Ability to respond to emergency response situations.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and direct Emergency Response Teams.
- Ability to operate all warehouse equipment.
- Ability to work varying and extended hours.
Location
Bunola, PA. This is an inside/outside work environment.
