Tampa Plant Operator- Pay Up to $28.64/hour

Pay

Starting pay ranges between $25.84‑$28.64 per hour, depending on the assigned work area, with a $0.60 shift differential for night shift. Quarterly bonus opportunities are available, with a maximum potential of up to $6,000 annually.

Schedule

After approximately five weeks of daytime training, you will work a 12‑hour rotating shift. Shift options include 6 am‑6 pm or 6 pm‑6 am, and 7 am‑7 pm or 7 pm‑7 am, depending on department and availability.

Responsibilities

• Consistently follow all standard operating procedures at assigned work area in plant.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment safely and properly.
• Keep assigned work area clean and in excellent working condition.
• Work as part of a team and support fellow team members when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass all pre‑employment testing (pre‑hire assessment, criminal background check, employment and academic verifications, drug screen & physical).
• Previous work experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment strongly preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred, but not required.
• Proficient English (reading and writing) and math (adding, subtracting, multiplication) skills; able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to wear respiratory protection on the production floor, with or without reasonable accommodation.
