About the role

The Security Officer role at Live Nation Concerts is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets. Key responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, responding to security and safety-related calls, and maintaining a professional demeanor. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a current valid CA Guard card or security license, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond to security and safety-related calls in a timely manner.
• Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty.
• Comply with and adhere to all departmental performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
• Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without losing efficiency or composure.
• Represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Work under pressure without losing composure.
• Memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during intense circumstances.
• Walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid CA Guard card or security license.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes.
• Ability to represent the Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to work in crises and maintain composure.
• Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees.
• Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.
