About the role

This position reports to the US Talent Acquisition Team Lead. The work model for the role is hybrid/onsite/remote. This role contributes to the US Talent Acquisition team in support of the US Energy Industries Automation division.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the company’s overall Talent Acquisition function by working closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and hiring managers to identify and engage top talent for ABB.
  • Source, attract, and pre-screen candidates; provide a pipeline of qualified candidates for the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes for assigned requisitions and act as a trusted advisor to business hiring managers.
  • Partner with HR leadership and business leaders to understand and resolve issues in the candidates’ pipeline and experience through HR practices, processes, or policies.
  • Use and update recruitment, sourcing, candidate engagement, and employer branding systems in support of the talent acquisition function.
  • Recommend, develop, and assist in the implementation of special programs in recruitment, sourcing, talent attraction, and employer branding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least 5+ years’ professional HR experience in a high-performing global organization or an RPO (or similar) company.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting including job brief, developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, offer and close.
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media.
  • Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition and Advancement trends within the HUB.
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience managing change projects.
  • Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging the tools to source candidates and manage relationships.
  • Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally; exceptional communication skills; strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills.
